Hi,
I'm trying to resurrect a LG OLED C1 TV that has some panel banding. I used the TCON error bypass to get a picture. I was able to update the firmware as well. But when I performed a pixel cleaning to try to get the banding out, it made the image significantly worse. I tried to undo the effects of the pixel cleaning by performing a factory reset and IN_Stop, but that didn't work. Any way to reset pixel cleaning data?... -
Hi all! A bit of an interesting and unusual problem: as the the title suggests I have a Hisense H50N5300UK that reboots when showing fullscreen solid red images (and some other solid colours, but red generally causes the issue the fastest). I first came across the problem assuming it was an intermittent issue, but later lucked into finding out that a title sequence of a show I watch happened to trigger the reboot.
What happens:- TV appears to operate normally, for an indefinite amount of time until a problem image appears

Heya! I have a Google pixel 6 with some important data on it, and since it's the new Google SOC I'm not really sure if it's possible to solder the storage to a new board.
If anyone has or knows how to get a Boardview of the pixel 6 (not pro) that would help me immensely.

Hi, I broke my 6700xt after doing a copper shim mod, w/ thermal paste and pads on everything. Probably a bad idea, but IDK exactly what went wrong. I'll make a post later with some pics/ diagrams. But currently , there's no output, even in Linux. And I've started making my own schematic in LTSpice and marking up some pictures of it.
And I've never worked on a GPU before, but I'm pretty familiar with LV power electronics.
I see some 5700xt's look pretty similar, anyone know were to find some good threads/discussions, or info stuff similar to 6700xt and it's IC's ? How... -
Hi,
I just replaced the battery on a Google Pixel 5.
After that the proximity sensor isn't functioning properly any more. It is constantly activated. So when playing a voice message on Whatsapp, the Screen instantly turns off.
Checking with a sensor app I can verify weird behavior of the sensor. It is triggered when nothing is near and sometimes works correctly when squeezing the phone next to the sensor hole.
The rubber seal is on again (as mentioned in various suggestions in other forums).
This smells like a cold or broken solder joint. So I'd like to reflow...
