It's an rx6600 GPU. I tried to attach one of the fallen resistors. The result was failure. They all fell off. I'm not even sure what the resistance value is. When connected, 32 and 42 were measured. The strange thing is that after I removed it, the resistance value was not measured. The resistance was too much. It's small, but is it something that can be done with a soldering iron?
Can this rx6600 GPU be repaired by soldering?

Those look like ceramic bypass caps to me, not resistors (though a bit difficult to tell 100% through the pictures.)
Either way, whether or not they can be put on by a soldering iron depends on the soldering iron your have and a bit on the pad size. On chips like this, the pads are pretty small, so manual soldering with an iron can be more difficult. Hot air with a fine nozzle might be the better way to go. And use a good amount of flux too. Won't get anything to stick without it. -
I wouldn't recommend using hot air right next to a GPU die and on top of a BGA. Soldering iron is fine as long as it's a good one with appropriate tip and decent leaded solder. Hello everyone, next I have the following problem with the Sumsour 8586D 110v dual station I bought it a year ago and it worked wonderfully, now it presents the H-E error on the soldering iron side, the hot air side works correctly..... I disassembled the soldering iron head because the manual tells me that this error is due to ceramic resistance problems, in effect, I measured it and it is open, I bought a new one that is working verified in a soldering iron and nothing.... The same error continues, I proceeded to open the station and check visually, I found a totally damaged 1R00 surface mount...

by cind12Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms... -

Posting this question on a Facebook tech group I'm in got a few responses like "that kind of thing corrodes the tips" and "just using normal solder paste is much better" so I'm not looking for generic responses like that, but rather, does anybody know for certain whether this exact product is good or bad for soldering iron tips?

I am testing a USB powered soldering iron. It's made by Kaiweets but I believe it's also sold under other names.
As a standard test, I checked whether there was any voltage leak from the tip - that said the thing runs on USB-C power delivery so am I correct that the whole unit is floating and not grounded? If I check, I measure 90V at the tip but I have a feeling that that is not relevant? Maybe caused by that capacitor between primary and secondary inside the PSU? I do not see current flowing at all.

This laptop was not powering on at all so I started investigating. The blue light would come on for a second, and then disappear. Fan would sometimes turn on for a second and then shut off immediately, and at other times would not turn on at all.
