K8N SLI - that BIOS problem again?

Got this with bloated KZGs in CPU VRM. Replaced them, now it boots once in safe mode after I do it the hard way - remove CMOS battery. Otherwise (clicking clear CMOS) it does not boot though it hangs in the precise moment it should POST - 2524 on POST card or LEDs 2 and 3 green on that LED post bracket.

I have seen this problem several times on different boards, anybody ever discovered what it is? Bad BIOS flash? Other caps are not bloated, measuring randomly did not reveal any of them being bad iternally. But the fan on northbridge is bad so it probably have been running at like 80 °C. But problem does not seem to be connected with temperature as it does not POST when cold if I do not trigger safe mode. It reacts on lack of RAM but mostly does not to lack of VGA.

Problem solved - it needed the extra 4pin molex connector to be powered. Not sure why, it should handle single card just fine (especialy this weak passive 7200), I always thought it is only needed for two cards.

That's crazy! A GeForce 7200 barely draws any power at all. I'm not impressed with this motherboard's design, then.
    Good find, for sure.

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

        Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
        Initial Findings:
        • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
        • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
        • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
        Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
        • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
        • I concluded that the

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
        by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

        TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" Bios Password Problem?
        by traxformania
        Hello,

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

        I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...

        🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
        by macabook
        Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
        🧩 Initial Issue
        • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
        • External display (HDMI) shows

        NEC VersaPro PC-VRT42FBFR22B BIOS problem
        by trouble55
        Hi All,

        [Mother board model]
        V-VE212(U3E1)

        [Serial number]
        24000135PA

        [BIOS chip model]
        Macronix MX77L12850F

I am having some problems with the BIOS of my Versapro PC-VRT42FBFR22B.

I extracted the BIOS file (versapro001.bin 16MB) from PC-VRT42FBFR22B ROM (MX77L12850F) using CH341A and NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10, but I don't know how to remove the BIOS password, so I can't open the BIOS even if I boot with F2.

I also downloaded the BIOS update package (933A0400.zip) for PC-VRT42FBFR22B from the official...
