I am new to Badcaps .net Live in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada
The Above board is in an HP 8300f pc and it appears that the filtering for the processor fan failed due to bad TK caps.

That's how it used to be, but I'm seeing more and more of these boards with other problems nowadays. The chipsets have the bumpgate defect, and that is starting to kill them off now.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Indeed.
Mine is starting to loose the LAN on cold boots if the room temperature is below 65F. Probably why I got it for free, too.
One thing to note is that it really helps - temperature-wise - if you use a dedicated video card with these motherboards rather than the onboard 6200/6250 chipset. If you keep the chipset as cool as possible, those boards should last pretty long time.Comment

Hi All,
Need help sourcing a substitute for ACT remover G-450 in Canada.
Removing glue from Flex Cable on LED TV that I dislodged so I can resolder with ACF tape.
Can someone confirm if acetone will work?
They will not ship to Canada.

I need a ENE KB9028Q-C IC but everything I find on eBay or Amazon has long delivery times. Can anyone suggest a trusted supplier in Canada (preferably) or the USA for small quantities of ICs?
I usually buy from DigiKey but they don't list this IC. -
I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

Just starting to crack into this one and wanted to get the ball rolling.
At power on (plug in), power light on, relays click, repeat (sometimes)
After disconnecting Y-Main from SMPS power stays on and boot up jingle is heard from speakers
Removed Y-Main for inspection and testing

Regarding the RCA RTU6049.
There was/is a real problem with the FRC board. I have not fixed it yet but it overheats to 130 f. It then shuts down the picture and backlights.
I have already rotated the FRC board so the fins on the heatsink run vertically. Another 10 degree drop but it takes just longer now to turn off.
The sound is fine.
Is the Hisense IC the problem? All voltages seem normal.
Backlights are good and all functions are working as long as it is on. The screen is not showing an image, just all turns off except the sound.
