    MSI 694D Mosfet Substitution?32N03L?

My MSI 694D Pro has lot of bulged caps, i replace all of the TAYEH and Lelon caps.

However, i still need to replace one of the mosfet. Its part number is 32N03L.

I search all over the web, but do not find anywhere that sell that mosfet.

There is one Japanese website that describes the same problem for the board.

    Anyone familiar with mosfet substitution?

That part number looks like a fair standard type. Interpreted, the device is 32 amps 30Volt rating. It would be a N channel MOSFET so any device witha similar rating and package size designed for 5 Volt logic drive will do.

    A Fairchild product: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/FD%2FFDD6296.pdf

    STmicroelectronics: http://www.st.com/stonline/products/...stb55nf06l.pdf

You can buy from the web sites, but I have not tried that.

Can i repace one with the sam voltage (32v) but higher Current Rating (70A?) ?

Yes higher voltage or current rating is not a problem. However if the current rating is too high 80 amps is getting a bit high . The input capacitance of the MOSFET can be too high for the driver chip. That is why I kept the currents below that level, at around 50 amps on the two devices, data sheets in the post.

If you have a MOSFET as described 32V 70A you need to know the other specs. Input capacitance and is it for logic drive circuits.

The STB55NF06L is available from Mouser @ $1.20 single unit price.
Mouser part No. 511-STB55NF06L The L defines a logic drive device.

bet the ic is dead on yours too.
btw semtech has datasheets on the web and several other chips will replace the 1153

I have been assuming all along that the MOSFET you are replacing is a Dpak. If you plan to buy check the size of the Dpak on the data sheet to make sure it is what you need.

I guess some of these points are bleeding obvious.I hope that you have success.

Actually, I think the package is a D2PAK (the "2" being superscripted, as in "squared").
