I have an Asus Z490-F Gaming mobo, flashed it to the latest bios with the flashback. I have tried both a i5 10400 and a I3 10105F and none of them get even warm.
When 24pin is connected the rgb lights up, also the cpu power led(near 8 pin) turns on red and when that is connected it turns off the led. When the power button is pressed the psu fan spins and i get 12v at the inductor and caps near the 12v power.
The board has debug leds but none of them light up, neither with cpu installed or not nor with ram.
From what i can fell and see the board dosent get hot near any components, just the pch and the nct6798d get a barely warm with nothing on it.
Measuring at inductors and caps of the vcore i get 0v, and a resistance of 6.5-7k with cpu installed and OL with no cpu in socket.
Also i cant find a schematic for it anywhere and the debug leds get 5v but dont get turned on
