Asus X570-P identifying potential missing SMD

I am trying to identify a potential missing component from an Asus X570-P motherboard. I could not find a boardview for that exact motherboard, but I did find one for the X570-Pro here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...prime-x570-pro

The component missing on my board I believe is a small 3 pin device above the Nuvoton Super IO. The X570-Pro uses a similar Nuvoton and there's a similar looking SMD just above it, though I'm going by somewhat low resolution images of both boards on the internet to try and confirm this.

On the X570-Pro, I believe this is OQ762, and the pins go to H-SKTOCC#, O_DEEP_S5_R2, and Ground. But there's no part info. My guess is that perhaps this is just a simple transistor.

Can't say I've sat down to do something like this before, so I wanted to see if my thought process was correct and if "find a transistor and solder it up to check" would be a good next step, or if I'd be better off asking for a schematic to try and confirm said part. I don't know if there's implied part types when they don't have info on the schematic like this.

I have learned that the little three pins are called "SOT"s and it's probably a transistor. I tried just putting a larger transistor on and no dice, not sure if it's the wrong part or if something else is wrong with the board. Don't think I've got a chance without a schematic.

BMW OEM Amplifier 9 264 953 – Help Identifying Missing SMD Component
      by Doyle1
      Hi all,

      I'm currently working on a BMW OEM amplifier, part number 9 264 953, taken from a 2011 BMW F10 535i.
There's visible PCB damage near the NXP 74HCT193 chip, where a small SMD component is missing or burned. Based on shape and size, it's most likely a ceramic capacitor or resistor in 0603 package.

I recovered the loose component (appears unmarked, like a ceramic cap) and have detailed photos:

      – PCB with missing part
      – Close-up of recovered component
      – Full view of the board

      I'm looking for:

Help with identifying missing resistors on 820-02918 A2992 board
      by bjh06
Hello, I have a A2992 board in which has some damage to the rear and a number of missing components. Does anybody have a good photo of this area, and could help identify the missing resistors.

      Thanks...

PS5 Edm-010 No Power - Help identifying missing capacitor
      by krob80
Hey everyone. I recently acquired a PS5 that is not turning on (no beep/power). PSU is good and there is no shorting on the 12V rail.
It came with a Gen3 SSD installed so I feel that things went down hill for the previous owner when it was installed. F7003 was blown but there was nothing shorting to ground. I replaced the fuse but still no power (new fuse is still good for now).
When connecting it to a bench power supply, it only pulls 10 mA (doesn't spike when first connected).
I noticed that there are a couple capacitors missing from the Vcore power regulator (pictures attached)....

Help identifying missing smd capacitor for HP elitebook 840 g3
      by Ambro
In an unfortunate mishap while attempting to read from the bios chip, one of the smd capacitors took flight and disappeared.

I'm not sure how crucial this smd capacitor is, but it was a brown possibly ceramic one with no notable markings on it anywhere.

I've attached a picture of where it's located on the board.

Does anyone have an HP elitebook 840 g3 who might be able to aid me identifying this component. I'm not sure how crucial it is, but didn't want to risk it.

Thank you for any help you can provide....

      820-02020 PPBUS_AON missing
      by ugamazing
Board had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.

Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),...
