    Cisco iOS for AIR-AP1231G-A-K9

    Hi Guys,

I got 3 x Cisco AIR-AP1231G-A-K9 off of eBay and all 3 has the fast blinking LED that goes from Green, Red, Yellow in loop.

My guess is that I need iOS to reload it. the Autonomous AP IOS Software requires service contract, which I do not have.

Would anyone be able to help me with this?

    Much appreciated!!

You can create a Guest account on the Cisco website then login and download the recovery files.

      Thanks for your advice, diff.
I had an account created already and I was able to download the [Autonomous To Lightweight AP IOS Software] and [IP Setup Utility].

I googled the file I needed and was able to download the files. Now, to figure out how to flash it.

I have added the instruction I documented on how to reload the ISO software.
          Rename the c1200-k9k7-tar.default.zip to c1200-k9k7-tar.default.

              Cisco air-lap1142n-e-k9 autonomous way
              by ManuelR
I have the Cisco air-lap1142n-e-k9 AP which is dependent on a WLC.
              flash: /c1140-k9w8-mx.153-3.JA10/c1140-k9w8-xx.153-3.JA10

The image C1140-K9w7.tar to be able to flash the AP and put it in autonomous mode is no longer available for download on the Cisco website.

Does anyone have the image available for download?

              Cisco catalyst 2960c POE
              by madan1
              Hello everyone.

Got a catalyst 2960 from the usual scrapyard - ebay.
It is stuck in bootloop and the power supply is missing the 3.3v rail. (+12V, -53V, +3.3V)
Some green moisture crystallization on mainboard, which cleared very well with IPA and visually there is nothing rusted or gone.
Still working on the PSU to get the 3.3v rail back (waiting for parts), but for now I'm using an external buck converter board hooked up to the 12V rail ( by the way, the switch seems to be working with only 12V ).

The switch fails to boot due to the following POST error:...

              cisco poe switch PSU issue
              by madan1
              Hello everyone.
I'm troubleshooting a cisco switch, which seems to have an issue with the PSU.
The psu has the following power rails - +12v, -53.5V and +3.3V
When connected to power, the +12 and -53.5 seem to work fine, but the +3.3 starts at ~3v and then goes down to ~0 (I guess this is the cap discharging). This happens both when the cable is connected and not to the switch board.
Any ideas what might be causing this behavior?

Hisense 55Q9G Android reset / factory firmware reload
              by mon2
Hello. Have a 55" Hisense TV that starts to load the Android OS (no backlight issues) -> reaches the app screen where you can view the assorted icons including Netflix and always crashes at the same point just after this launch. If I quickly press the cursor buttons, the cursor can navigate to the settings menu but will power off just after a few seconds of this activity. Do not believe it is power related since the crash is very accurate in the boot cycle.

After the OS 'crashes', the power does go off and the from white LED goes dark for about 20 seconds and then ON again....
