I'm over at a family members house troubleshooting there network for them and I cannot even login to the router webpage to see what failed but it's still broadcasting it's SSID no problem but when I type in the correct WPA key for the network it rejects it no matter what.
But when I connect via a Ethernet Cable to my laptop, there desktop PC or my Grandma's Laptop it will just say in Windows Xp (desktop) Limited or no Connectivity and in Windows 7 on her laptop it say No Internet Access and this is for the wired connection.
If I attempt to connect to wireless on this router it won't even accept the WPA key that was I programmed into it.
Now the other day they had a major power failure due heavy rain which blew a transformer down the street.
But for right now this family member who is my grandma is using my old Netgear WGR614 wireless g router which I've set up with a different SSID and WPA key.
If anyone can help that would be great I hope I don't have to buy a new router for them.
The Router in question is a Linksys WRT54g Version 1 and it's only Wireless G at 54Mbits and runs at 2.4ghz.
If anyone has any ideas what is going on with their linksys router that would be great.
