Not on its own, you'd need to connect it to a switch capable of managing VLANs.

you may want to re-flash it.

Sorry to say. Fritzboxes are for people who don't have "special" needs and want "plugnsurf". Years ago I have not found an openwrt for fritzboxes either. Maybe you have more luck today. If the Fritzbox is from your provider you can buy some cheap hardware and run opnsense or openwrt on it. Than turn your Fritzbox in bridge mode or tell your provider to take the box back and give you a modem instead. Second alternative is preferred. If anything fails it's always the Fritzbox needing a reboot -.-

If there is an option to give the ethernetports of your Fritzbox different IP ranges your lucky

Questions about VLANs and Cisco Hardware
          by Spork Schivago
Does anyone have any experience with Cisco hardware, specifically WLCs, Wireless APs, and VLANs?

I took the CCNA courses, but it was a very long time ago. We didn't go over wireless technologies in the course because back then, I believe wireless was fairly new in the business sector.

To start with, I'm having some trouble understanding VLANs. I realize on Cisco hardware at least that a VLAN ID is layer 2, a VLAN interface is layer 3. I am a bit confused with VLAN tagging though.

I have a setup like this:
          Code:
          Cisco Router

Managing Heat on Intel based boards
          by bigbeark
I have two boards, one ASUS and one Intel, that run too hot. The Intel board gets core temps of 71C just doing regular browsing. I changed the resolution to 1024x768 just to see if it would lower the temps which it did - to 68C. Fan runs about 1500 RPM, which seems slow. Should say these are Core 2 E4400 CPUs.

The ASUS board will get to 80C at which time it locks up and I power down.

I checked the heatsink mounting pins and all seems OK.

I'm running Linux Mint. Has anyone tried running Speedfan under Wine? Can't find a SpeedFan download.

Need help diagnosing the NM-D471 REV 2.0 motherboard for a LENOVO laptop.
          by JJ8409
          Hello,
I need your help with an issue I'm encountering while diagnosing a NM-D471 REV 2.0 motherboard from a Lenovo laptop. The laptop won’t power on. I started by checking the power rails, including the main power line and the 3.3V and 5V rails.

I do have a proper 3.3V across the line, including at the chip responsible for managing 3.3V/5V—same goes for the 5V rail. I haven’t tried to simulate a power-on yet, since the main issue still needs to be resolved.

I have full access to the boardview, but I’m not sure what to check next to isolate the problem.

          My Mesh Network
          by urgodfather
So network capabilities is definitely a requirement in our home.... with me having my hands in so many things, I don't have the time to deal with the troubles of networking. At the same time, I don't own, so I cannot go pulling wire for a backbone. Because of this, I took what I had and expanded on it.

Over the last 6 years, I've used apple Airport Extremes. Some of you may cry and shout, but the truth is that they have simplified the process to an effortless setup and their wireless bridging just works.

Now that I'm able to get 400 x 20, it was time to do an upgrade....

What is this bga chip in all Nikon camera ? – power management
          by corrize
Hello, do you know what is this chip or where I can buy it please ? This is a main chip managing voltages : battery voltage in input and outputs are other lower voltages needed by camera.
I have 6-7 boards with this dead chip, but I cant find replacement parts. There is no brand, the number matching with nothing. The top is brilliant and conductive material (yes and it is ground). It's not a plastic like other chips.
In anothers nikon camera, there is this same chip, with differents numbers like 23250.
Do you know where I can find the same please ?
