    vp930b no images

Hi, two days after i screwed up my "HP" monitor, i turned on the vp930b and got the image
problem as pic #1. Very unlucky week...T.T

Next day i turned it on still the same but after 1 mins the images started to show slowly, display worked like 30 mins and then no more images. Now, when i turn on the monitor is completely black, power light is in standby mode (oragen). I know the problem could be inverter board or CCFL's, but want some experts' opinion before touching the inverter board.

P.S.: i recapped the psu six months ago.

The attachment you have shows there is a picture. But, it looks like the BIOS screen is displayed several times?

Have you open up the unit and inspect the caps you put in before? Were they low ESRs type?

Unbelievable! I fix the issue by recaping the small cap on the psu board (10 uF 50v) after recaping all the caps on the inverter and logic board almost give up thinking the probelm is the ic chip untill i decided to change that small cap
