    Nfren nf-1500ma

Could we call this Vintage LCD monitor?

    Resolution is just 1024*768.

    Uses external power supply.

    Even includes stereo speakers.

Got 5 monitors, 1 of them faces some issues with panel, if you put some pressure on the low part of the screen, screen shows content without artifacts.

Posting info and pics in case someone looks for it.

LOL, them old LCD monitors were pretty thicc, weren't they?
Aside from the crap cap brands, the rest of the build quality looks pretty good.
Generally these older monitors weren't as susceptible to panel issues like newer ones are.
I need to post some of my "vintage" stuff too someday.

Please do, I love vintage electronics.

BTW, posted an ad for 3 of them, apparently no one wants them, even for free.

Give them some time. They will probably get taken eventually. They're just not a "hot" item, so it will take some time for the right individual to come and claim them.

That's the plan anyways... I'm just slow about it.

Today I went to a local HAM Radio Festival. It was one of the smaller ones in our area. My stepfather is the HAM operator. I tinker in electronics but am a Software Programmer (27 years now).

I was looking for a few odds and ends for some electronics work I have to do for the household/farm. Typically these type of shows have the grab bags or a electronics vendor...

Retro 8800 GTX from EVGA artifacts
          by N3Star
          Hello,
I need help identyfing what is broken on this GPU - GPU core or VRAM. Let's start with what I did and know so far:
          - disassembled, added missing SMD capacitors from same GPU
-(If anybody knows what Q518 is and would share this information I would be very grateful)
          - artifacts during Windows booting are blue vertical stripes, I can take a photo if that would help
          - artifacts in Windows are yellow-ish horizontal lines
          - in BIOS/ text on black screen text gets extremely garbled
          - GPU-Z doesn't show GPU or VRAM frequency
          - GPU error 43...

          KVA2 RTX 2060 Super 8GB Desktop artifacts
          by klugec
Hello (sorry for my bad English),

I have a strange problem with my KVA2 RTX 2060 Super. As soon as Windows 11 is loaded, artifacts appear. Now the crazy thing: When I start Furmark the artifacts are gone and Furmark runs great without crashing. Mats test shows me no errors (PASS). Drivers can also be loaded without any problems.

Mods shows me the following error:

          Code:
          MODS start: Thu Feb 1 19:16:00 2024

          Command Line : gputest.js -oqa -old_gold -test 94 -dramclk_percent 100 -ignore_fatal_errors -run_on_error -fan_speed 70 -matsinfo

Macbook Pro A2141 020-01700-A GPU Artifacts then no S5 rails
          by skwarszczow
          Hello everyone,

This is my first post on the forum

I recently purchased a MacBook A2141 from a colleague at work, which had issues with the dedicated GPU. The system occasionally displayed artifacts on the screen and sometimes experienced kernel panics related to the GPU. Interestingly, applying pressure to the VRAM module would temporarily resolve the artifact issues, which made me optimistic about the ease of repair.

          Board: 020-01700, Config: Intel i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB Ram.

Before completing the purchase, we decided to erase...

Pioneer RM-07 Active monitors cutting out from time to time
          by BigOof
I have a pair of Pioneer RM-07 monitors that I bought a while ago. When I was testing them I noticed that one speaker would cut out and I thought it was just a bad cable connection. At the price they were being sold for I was willing to take a risk on them. However, 6 months later and the one monitor still has the same issue. Most of the time it works, but there are times that the power LED is on but I get absolutely no sound. I can hear the relay clicking on/off sometimes and then it will/won't work depending on what it feels like. I've tried XLR and RCA inputs with the same issue. There's no...
