I have a CCFL lamp assembly that needs replacing. The current lamp assembly has a connector with 2 hot wires and 1 return wire (see enclosed pic OLD wiring)
The new lamp assembly which i got out of a "similar" size lcd monitor has 2 hot wires and 2 return wires. (see enclosed pic NEW wiring)
I could use the wiring from the old assembly, and i will use the old assembly wiring which goes into the connector. However, i would like to use some of the wiring from the new connector because it will make it easier to install this new lamp assembly.
My question is..........compare the two pics.......old and new. If i connect the new lamp assemby as shown in the "new" picture.......will this cause any issues?
