    Hp W1907

I have read all I can find already posted about this monitor and none fit my problem exactly

First of all the monitor was given to me like this, so I have never seen it operate correctly

When I hook it up using either VGA or DVI it will show all the post text and for a very short time flash the desktop then a small box appears showing the resolution and saying no signal and the picture leaves but the power button stays blue

If I push the Menu, that same box shows again but for a split second, the desktop shows and then goes black.

I used a MaxBlaster boot CD for a signal source to see if it would stay on but the same thing happens

One time, it came on and stayed. That time I pushed Menu and actually got it where I could +- all the options but as soon as I chose one it put it right back in the loop again and haven't been able to see the Menu since, it always shows the rez and no signal box.

I had new caps and did every one on both boards except a 22mf and the big one on the power board (I didn't have those 2) but no change at all

Whats happening and which board am I fighting

PS: I did a voltage check on the 2 red - 5v lines during boot up and they both stayed right on 5v from working to failure. The on and off reads abut 2 when on and 0 when off

What brand/series caps did you use for replacements and where? Pics please. Where is 22uF one located?

I used mixed Rubycon and Panasonic from Newark.com. I got these and some others while fixing my SyncMaster 226BW

The 22uf was on the small board where the internal speakers plug in

I have it all back together so I can't right now give you the location number

Without taking it back out right now the board looks like this one

      https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...chmentid=10639

I didn't actually compare the board numbers though

After turning it off and on several times, that small screen is a status screen and flashes so fast it's hard to read but looks like the No Signal I was reading may have been the VGA when hooked to DVI and visa versa

I gives me the rez also and this is what comes up instead of the Menu

What -series- Ruby & Pana? 105°C caps? It makes a difference in the SMPS.

The 22uF is not important in this situation.

You should find, I believe, both 5v & 12v on the power plug if all is correct. PlainBill should pop in here anytime and verify that.

I'm not familiar with the monitor. This sounds like a problem with one of the voltages on the logic card. This may be due to a noisy +5v or +12V (either one can be used), or a problem with one of the bucking regulators on the logic card.

M557-G0 no WiFi/Bt no WIFIVendor file?
            by howardc64
Thanks to Diah, got M557-G0 LCD panel buffer board repaired and running ( link ) Next challenge is no WiFi/Bt despite module on the main board and getting 3.3v supply (3.45v measured)
            • TV Menu shows Network Access Point option (enet unplugged) but menu can't select that entry
            • Service Menu shows many Bt/Wifi info missing
            • Vizio app shows no WIFIVendor file
Prior owner used enet and said turned off wifi somehow. It seems system config info for wifi might be missing. Anyone experienced this before?
            • Tried countless enet unplug (user manual said need to unplug enet to get to wifi menu), factory

            Hello,

So I was referred here when I made this poste over on AVForums: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/loc...lg-tv.3257234/

To summarize, this is a commercial TV and I can't get a menu of any kind. I know the overlay is working because when I change channel, adjust volume, turn on sleep timer I do see text. But I have not ever seen the user menu nor the installers menu. I've tried a bunch of remotes(more info on the AVF post) and tried every button...

EIZO CX270 - No signal but Backlight and Panel works, logo works, admin menu works. OSD doesn't. What?!
            by vf fa
Hi, so i guess I´ll have to make a new topic here, as i browsed through hundreds of other threads but couldn't find a solution to my problem yet.

I got a EIZO CX270 from a friend. He said it doesn't work anymore and wont display any signal or take any OSD inputs. Well, as an aspiring photographer I couldn't say no, could I? Thought it was an easy game, replace a bad cap and have a working monitor. But nooope, it wasn't supposed to be this easy.

So let me start with the problem description. I'll try my best not to skip anything so this might get rather long.

Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
            by Rauni
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

Read also that we should test what happens if we...
