I have and Old Gateway VX900 monitor. It has 12 momentary buttons under the CRT screen. The two for the Brightness, and Contrast have stopped "clicking" and must be pushed and rocked from side to side to get the setting to change. Can I get the daughter board out of this monitor without electrocuting myself? I have many different styles of momentary switches that I have saved from other things that I have junked. I just might have the right ones to replace my bad ones with.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

by bobbyskillzHello, experts! I have a weird issue I've never seen before. I know some of you have definitely seen this. I think some have seen in. I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can give me.
I bought a E241i-a1 to use as a monitor. It powers on, displays the image, and has sound. I just can't get the OSD to go away. The TV doesn't respond to any input from the remote contol or buttons except for the power button. Is this a firmware issue? I can't access settings to reset it. A quick search for the firmware has no results. I'm lost. Please throw some ideas at me.

by Dan JohnGreetings everyone,
I have a Gateway P5WS0/NV57H58u laptop (P5WEO LA-6901P REV:2.0). The client said the battery was not charging. Upon checking the laptop,
1) On pressing the power button, the (power button) light turns on and stays on.
2) There is no boot, or anything on the screen.
3) The fan starts and stops a few times, then it stops completely.
4) The light on the power button remains on.
5) Battery not charging (original issue).
The original problem was that the battery was not charging, but the laptop still worked. My belief...5 Photos -
