IIYAMA GB2488HSU Weird smudge like fingerprint in first days of use.

Hi. My new monitor IIYAMA GB2488HSU get weird issue in first days of use.
Darker little spot was only visible on light blue or gray,or bronze colours . It isn't a well defined spot (like dead pixels) but more like a smudge of about the size of a small fingerprint.
It now is ok actually, but i am asking only. Thx. Why it dissapeared?
    What was that? Rma monitor?

I found something on internet to show.
I dont have camera to make pic.

Pressure mark usually occurs when heavy object is placed in screen or pressing too hard with your finger or not packing properly when moving.

(Weird) BIOS info for HP Pavilion Aero 13-be1021AU
      by Loki_Fido
      Hi folks,

This HP Pavilion Aero 13-be1021AU came to me for a repair. And it seems to have a weird BIOS chip. (Pic attached)
I asked my CH341A to read it and doesn't even know what to do with this. We are both very confused.

      BIOS - XMC 25RU128CH10 (1.8v)

What the heck is this? I looked all over the MB. This is the only bios.
When I asked the NeoProgrammer to detect it, it just pops up an empty screen, and asked me to enter the bios number. And when I did, it doesn't do anything. NeoProgrammer showed me just this SPI ID: 204418. Don't know what...

820-02020 Super Weird Issue: Keyboard Input Character Map "Wrong"?
      by ugamazing
So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:

      1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.

      2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not...

Weird clipping on Logitech Z-10 speakers
      by dreamlayers
I bought used Logitech Z-10 computer speakers. They can act as a USB audio device or accept line input, and they have a headphone output jack. Some music didn't sound right, so I played a frequency sweep and heard other frequencies and beat frequencies between them and the sweep. I uploaded a spectrogram of a frequency sweep. From the very start, some but not all odd harmonics are visible, indicating symmetric distortion. Then at higher frequencies there are descending images of those harmonics, indicating non-linearity and constant higher frequency noise mixing with the harmonics. The image of...

Need help replacing led strip on Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS monitor
      by mikey5791
      Hi,
Got this working ips led monitor by the brand of
Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS presumably a 23 inch type given to me with suspected bad led backlight. To test it, i unplugged the bad flat ribbon type connector and plugged it a good flat ribbon led connector scrapped from a HP Pavillion 27cw (led strip with 60 led). Good news is the HP led strip lights up but not fully, in between there are about 15 unlit leds.(as picture attached shows).

Fyi, i had not opened and removed the old bad led strip. My question is whether is it possible to cut some of the extra leds(say...
