Hi everyone, I inherited an Elo touch screen monitor from work and as it was going to go to the junk yard i figured id try and save it since it was once a nice monitor, and it doesnt appear to be very old.
I get nothing when i press the power button, no flickers even in pitch black.
(it does have 2 status LEDs located on the bottom of the monitor one of which lights up as soon as the power cable is plugged in)
I took the LCD assembly and plugged it into another monitor and inverter and it displayed an image perfectly.
If i disconnect CN05 which leads to the video board, the touch board's LED's start lighting up and flashing, and the 2nd LED located on the bottom of the monitor starts lighting up green and blinking.
I am getting about 3.275v on all the pins (except ground) at CN02 on the video board which goes to the power/display buttons on the side of the monitor.I dont know if thats a normal voltage for a power button or not.
My suspicion is the issue is with the video board or the power button but i have no idea how to go about proving this.
Any help/thoughts on what i could try would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks to anyone who has time to help!
