    HP 2510i ... dimmed picture

    Hello,

    What I got here is a beautiful 25", 16:9 HP 2510i screen which I repaired awhile ago. It's working great but there is one problem left, the screen is quite dimmed and brightness control is already at its highest. In comparison with my own 24" HP w2408h screen, the brightness on the 25" is just merely half of it.

    Is this normally a problem with the installed CCFL's (old, worn) or do I have to check the inverter board?

      Possibly Cfls or I have had a case where there was a faulty transformer on the inverter Pcb.

          I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started β€˜fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

          I ordered a supposedly β€˜new' Tcon board this time, and          ...

          Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

          My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

          This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

          Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?

          Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?

          Hello, I need your help for a failure on a laptop:

          It's a Packard Bell Kayf0, motherboard LA-5021P, Rev 1.0 with graphic issue.

          I received this pc because it was turning on but not displaying anything, the fans are running normally and all chipsets heat up on startup but no picture on screen, no backlight either. I noticed that ENAVDD and ENVDD are not present and that there is no LCDVDD on the connector.           Hello everyone.

          I have this TV set which has this issue. It shows a vertical bar im the middle of the screen.
          The panel has 12 cofs and the problem seems to be on the territory of the first cof on the right side.
          The tv fires up and you can see a good picture exept that vertical part where multicoloured pixels exist.
          The strange thing there is that you can see behind that snow that it shows picture but as if there are these pixels in front so you cannot see clearly.

          The effect is there even on a completely black screen.
