I got this monitor which I've fixed the first time around by replacing the inverter/power supply with one I bought from Shopjimmy.
After a couple of years of use, this monitor is experiencing some flicking horizontal lines (see photo gallery + Youtube video below). This monitor is actually fine right after turning it on after not being in use for a while. But after 5 minutes when the monitor warms up, the horizontal flickering will be apparent. And if I move the window in the monitor a certain position, the flickering will intensify/subside depending on where I move the window. This monitor has both a VGA and DVI connections. I tried both connections and I experience the flickering issue with both cables, so I am pretty sure this issue is with the monitor itself. Sometimes if I give the monitor a slap on the back, the flickering will go away for a while, but come back.
Just wondering if anyone thinks this is fixable by replacing a couple of capacitor or I would have to replace the inverter/power supply board to repair this.
