My HDTV won't detect my computer Help!

Right I have a Technika x22/14b-gb-tcd-uk HDTV that I am trying to connect to my computer as a primary Monitor I already have a Technika x22/14c-gw-tcd-UK which is a slightly different model that works great as a monitor but I want the other HDTV to work too.
The HDTV is not detecting the computer which is connected via hdmi as it keeps saying no signal on the TV and the HDTV does't show up in device manager on the computer so I am thinking that the HDTV isn't compatible with my computer or something as I have tried it on my old computer and works fine and have also used different hdmi cables and nothing changes.

    Please Help Me :P

Update your video drivers on your computer. Verify the HDMI port is working by connecting to another device. If using win vista + and if still not working try to force find the TV by pressing windows key + p and tell it to connect to a projector and pick the hdmi output.

    Good luck!

I have tried connecting the TV to another device and it works fine as I used to use it as a secondary monitor on my old computer and I'm running windows 8.1 when I click win + p I select extend and it does nothing as you can see in the image below the screen is not being picked up at all the generic pnp monitor is my primary monitor
