hi to allguys i got a samsung t260 hd yesterday power on like few second flicker screen black then go off no more, power or led light on power button dissemble the monitor then remove the inverter tm-0918 i know the The secondary resistance is about 940 ohm between S1 and S2 (or S3 and S4). The primary resistance is about 0.3 ohm between P1 and P2.

mine are secondary resistance is about 1032 ohm between S1 and S2 (or S3 and S4).
and The primary resistance is about 0.3 ohm between P1 and P2. mines are reading in P1 and P2 primary resistance is about 0.9 ohm ? any insights on this would be a bad invert er any help greatly appreciated thanks fernando

So both high voltage windings resistance are within 3% of each other then?
Primary winding will be very low since you are measuring the DCR not the impedance of the winding.
How about some pictures? No sign of over heat around the transformer?
How about the ESR of the caps? Power supply Voltages are OK?
You may also have bad lamps, bad lamp's wiring.

So right now just to be clear, you DO HAVE power LED but you are not getting any backlights not even flicker of the backlights at all, right?
There is SMD POWER MOSFET with 4 legs on one side and big tab on the other side, we need the P/N so we can verify if it is OK or not.

OK, lets verify this first, disconnect the cable (red and black wires) between the power supply board and the main board. Power up the power supply board and then check the DCV on the connector pins between GND PIN and the 15.0V PIN, GND pin and the 5.2V Pin to see if it shows the correct Voltage

troubleshooting microsoft surface pro 4 no power no led charge light
                        by ipatch
hello, i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have...

LG 39ln540v - red light flashes twice, no power to LED driver?
                        by russpall
                        Hi there,

I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.

The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:
                        ...

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...

Saved this TV from the trash but it will not power on the red power indicator light blinks 6 times with no display. I've attached pics of the power board(1st pic) and mainboard(2nd pic). I don't see any blown caps on pb like I expected so what do y'all think is the issue?...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
                        by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
