Hello,
Called Dell yesterday to see if I could get some help with a Dell U2410F that's 2 months out of warranty.
I'm easy going and being in construction for 30 years I know a attitude problem immediately, this tech with very poor English was really having a bad day, so the conversation was short, no I can't help you, no we can't fix it. Ok next.
Monitor powers on ok (tested on 2 computers to make sure it's not the computer) and has very thin vertical flickering lines across the entire screen and a image that is readable behind.
Disassembled and was hoping for some visible cap bulges, they all appear ok. I had no idea there were so many, do I need to start by testing all the caps or should I look for a way to test the power and logic board?
Unable to find someone with a similar problem search, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
