Acer AL2021 does not react to buttons, behaves strangely

I have a revision of this display with independent +12V PSU, a TDK inverter for 6 tubes and big signal board. After recap the PSU provides +12 V OK with 25 mV ripple, when it works, tubes light OK so inverter is also working.

Problem is than with signal board. First, when I am lucky, it powers up for the first try and shows image OK. But than if I turn it off, I won't get image when I turn it on again even though display seems to be operating, there is +5 V on inverter on/off pin (but 0 V on brightness pin).

Lately it just lights diodes for a while, than it switches to a state when only orange diode is on and the backlight is in operation. It seems to be a state when it has no input connected, but I have D-Sub plugged in all the time! And the worst, it does not react to power button at all, no matter how many times I press it.

The button is OK, cables as well - I can read drop of voltage from 5 V to 0 on one resistor near the pannel connector. I have replaced all 100uF caps and 10uF caps on the signal board, some of them were not in the best condition. Now only a few 22uF casp remain and soem bigger filtration ones (but these are OK). Can repalce the 22uF ones but I bet this is not the problem.

I've noticed the signal board gets some feed from the D-Sub, +5 V and there is some regulator to make 2,5 V from that.

Hi - Not sure what you mean about an independant power supply. Do you just mean independent of the inverter board?

    Here is a service manual
    http://www.manualslib.com/manual/233...page=46#manual

Is it the same as that?
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Yep, indepdented meaning the inverter is separate.

In this datasheet is different signal board, with Genesis main IC, I have MST9251, that is MStar I believe. Here is also a BGA GDDR SDRAM chip, that board with Genesis does not seem to have any RAM.

Vizio E241i-a1 - works, but OSD stuck and no buttons work
        by bobbyskillz
Hello, experts! I have a weird issue I've never seen before. I know some of you have definitely seen this. I think some have seen in. I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can give me.

I bought a E241i-a1 to use as a monitor. It powers on, displays the image, and has sound. I just can't get the OSD to go away. The TV doesn't respond to any input from the remote contol or buttons except for the power button. Is this a firmware issue? I can't access settings to reset it. A quick search for the firmware has no results. I'm lost. Please throw some ideas at me.

        Thanks for...

Help with identifying missing resistor from JVC push buttons TV3024-ZC10-01(C)
        by cheeky2
Someone previously had damaged a couple of the push buttons who has whilst pushing them in pushed off a smd resistor from a JVC 40" LED TV LT-40C550 main board MSDV3255-ZC01.
The missing resistor off the push control buttons TV3024-ZC10-01(C) pcb is R06 see the pictures.
I have tried downloading manuals for the Haier manufactured main board however they don't include the schematic for the push buttons!
So if anyone has the pcb that could measure the resistance or have a schematic diagram for it would be much appreciated.

Asus X99-S motherboard will not start
        by Sully115
I have an older Asus X99-S mother board which has quit working on me, I don't have money for an upgrade at the moment so thought I would have a go at figuring out what up. Before it stopped working the pc would intermittently not start on the first try, but normally would on the second (I don't know if this is relevant)

I have tried the usual, reseating everything, using a single Stick of ram etc, tried flashing the bios from USB but nothing happened . when the psu is turned on the power and reset buttons light up but nothing happens when pressed, I have checked the psu and all the...
