    HP 2009f no power

    guys i'm new here at badcaps and I learned so many things on this forum. I have a no power HP 2009f monitor with a shorted rectifier model sr520. can someone give me alternative or substitute for this. thanks

        Looking at SR520 specifications, its a schottky barrier diode. Important stuff to look at are...

        Peak reverse voltage: 20V (or greater)
        Average current: 5A (or greater)
        Forward voltage: 0.55V (preferably equal, but can be less)
        Peak current: 150A (or greater)

        There are many diodes with those parameters such as SR502 and SB520. You can also use those with higher specifications such as SR503, SB530, SB540, SR1202, SR1203, SR1204, SR1245, etc...
