Samsung SyncMaster P2370 - white screen
Hi, i have Samsung syncMaster P2370 and it work ok, like 2-3 weeks, and then suddenly white screen all over LCD. Try to ON/OFF no help. Then i leave it for 24h, and turn ON and all OK, this happen every 3-4 weeks, no clue what can go wrong.

It is working now for 5-6 day. No white screen, and i want to sell it but i am affraid if again go white. What can you suggest to check on board about this?...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear... -

hello again, the monitor now work for few minutes and then turn off. I take a picture of inside board. The inverter board get 14v (this monitor work on DC 14V adapter). i suspect of faulty inverter driver IC.

i check with 19V supply and nothing, i found that on one of the output i have 0.4V and other output 19V is this confirmation that IC is bad?Attached Files...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

ok so i find out that monitor working on 12V DC /3A. I test with that voltage and nothing i got power on touchscreen (the menu bar) but thats all i get, no background and no picture.
On output (to the inverter) i have 12V and 3.3V (no 5V)Attached Files...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

So when your using it the screen turns white?
Or does the screen turn white when the power is off?My pc

I do not have backlight, i think i see white color when i flash with flashlight on it...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...Comment

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment... -
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -

I have a Samsung LE37B650 screen with the following symptoms:
- Image suddenly turned into almost completely white while I was watching a movie. I can make out some details, but they are very faint. There is definitely an image there, but very very bright and maybe inverted colors.
