Hi all!
I'm new to this forum and I want to say that it was a great help for me with couple of old LCD's, and all I had to do is to search!
Now to the topic, I followed the troubleshoot here with no luck
My power board is of a different model PWI1704SV rev1.3
I connected just the power board without anything else and got a 4.9-4.95V on the 5.1V pins, 0V on the 13V pin and also on all the other pins.
So the problem is with the power board and I thought to myself that it's a good thing and I can fix that
The electrolytic caps seemed to be OK but just in case I replaced all of them except the C101 100mf 450V and two 22mF 50V(didn't have any
),
but i checked their capacity(my cheep voltmeter has a capacitor tester up to 200mF) and got 18mF which is good.
Checked the voltage on the C101 and got 314V which is OK (I live in Israel and we got 230V)
I followed Bill's excellent instructions and got to the FSDM0565R Power Switch(different from the original post I followed),
I measured the voltage between the Vcc and GND(pins 2 and 3 from this datasheet) and it varies from ~11V to 14V constantly.
According to Bill I need to change the start-up cap which in my case is C104(I think), so I did but it didn't help
I also tried to replace the power switch with another one just like it which I salvaged from another Samsung board but I got the same readings...
So now I'm stuck...
I attached pictures of the board with some markings, hope you can help me
