    Xerox XA7-19i

I see that there are a couple of threads with this monitor going back a few months or more, but just thought I'd ask for some quick guidance on one of these that I might be able to get cheap.

The symptom is that after 5 or 10 minutes after applying power, and trying to turn it on, it eventually comes on, and stays on. That's all I know about it.

Not the typical 2 seconds to black, but is it still likely to be cap issue on the power board? Start-up caps needing a bit of exercise to get them going?

Next question (presuming *hopefully* an easy cap solution), anyone have first hand experience of the monitor, is it worth having a shot at it?

Those symptoms are the classic indication of bad caps in the power supply. As the caps heat up the ESR drops.

Very reasonable monitors, and definitely worth a few caps.
