    NEC MultiSync 2470WNX

Just noticed today some very light vertical lines running through on the left ~1/6 of the screen. I pulled it apart, but nothing obvious looks wrong. Any ideas?
btw, it is filled with Chemi-Con and Rubycon.

You can try reseating the flat ribbon cable from the logic board to the LCD control panel board. Unfortunately, my fear is that the flat ribbon flex cable that connects the panel control board to the LCD panel itself is starting to separate. You can try pressing down on the cable contacts to see if the lines go away (or the number of lines may increase). No fix for this, since the connections are made using specialized equiptment at the panel manufacturing plant.

Really? Well, that sucks. Guess Ill run it until it dies (or gets extremely annoying) and save money for a replacement in the mean time.

        Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
        by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

        Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
        by jeyoung12
        Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

        Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
        by Rubenlily
        Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
        by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

HP 440 G2 no power after short in flat lcd
        by dclass-pro
Hi all guys, I need your help. On a HP 440 G2 - LA-B181P laptop I was changing the speakers and the pc worked fine everything ok.
After closing it all with all the screws I realized that it would no longer turn on. I opened it and found that the flat cable of the LCD was shorted. I ordered a new flat but the motherboard still won't turn on, as soon as I connect the power supply the connector LED always flashes and the power button stays on.
I tried to check the voltages and the 3v and 5v are there, on the battery pin (with no battery connected) I have about 2v.
        I tried to...
