    ELO 1529L touch screen x6 with 2 second to black

    I have 6 touch screen monitors. All having same issue.
    the display comes on for a brief moment then the backlight turns off.
    You can see the display and the touch screen controls work fine.
    I would like to repair them but not sure it's worth it.
    If anyone wants the screens make me an offer,

      And of course,if anyone wanted to make you and offer,then you are in Outer Siberia,South Africa,Italy,Russia etc etc ??????? I would have assumed your location would have been a pre-requisite,for shipping etc ??

          Most problem with Elo monitor is Cap is bad some time cap look good but when you testing is bad & check inverter side or Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL). Elo monitor is running 24/7
          go to ebay.com & ELO 1529L touch screen you can find out you touch screen price range
          Price range from $50 to $200 used on good condition both display & touchscreen, if you fix
          or you can pot in Ebay sale for part or repair if you do not want to fix
          had 2 way
          1/ auction from >$.99 to who know when is bid
          2/ port you price & use best offer
          but you open account on Ebay & paypal too

              Problem

              This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

              Hi All,


              We've got a HP Envy 12th gen that has been dropped and the LCD panel itself has cracked. The glass is fine just the panel itself is cracked. We ordered a replacement screen assembly using the part number off the HP part surfer website.
              Upon installation the touch screen now does not work either in UEFI or win 11. Device manager under the "intel Precise touch and Stylus) menu notes "This device cannot start (code 10) Status_Device_Power_Failure".

              I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the driver, uninstalling...

              Hi everyone,
              I have this strange behaviour with Acer Aspire E5-574-52RH, i5 6200U, intel graphics, DA0ZRWMB6G0 Rev G, model ZRW.
              Laptop came in for a SSD upgrade, took everything apart to install the SSD.
              Everything started after modifying BIOS settings to boot UEFI instead of Legacy.
              Laptop works fine, i installed windows 10 and drivers/updates, everything works ok(when it works)
              The black screen problem is random, maybe 5 out 10 times, laptop remains with the black screen, no image

              Symptoms are:
              - random black screen after displaying Acer logo...
