I have this monitor listed above that has one vertical line on the right side of screen. I bought it at a yard sale for ten dollars becuase it would turn on and off for a couple minutes then it would be fine I replaced caps thanks to the info posted here. All was good until this line showed up. Is it stil fixable I only spent ten bucks plus five for the caps that i had to replace. I wouldnt mind spending some more if it stil has a solution.

If the vertical line extends the full height of the screen it is probably a broken bond between the flat flex cable and the glass panel. There have been reports that if you can place pressure on the right spot you might be able to get it working. Everything is very fragile in that area.

Hi all, I tried searching the site for answers but I'm a bit over my head understanding some of what might apply and what doesn't, so please be patient with me. I used Freakaftr8's fix to remove the left driver board to restore picture to a black screen with sound Vizio E701i-A3. After doing so, I now have a large red vertical stripe down the center of the screen. The fix did require getting another t-con board from online, I ordered it before I knew about the mosfit fix for the old t-con board. I have tried cleaning the cable connections to the t-con board. Hi all.
I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).
The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.
Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.

Has one here really gone through fixing laptop screen vertical line(s) by repairing/replacing its Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) cable, so would recount and share the complete steps of the process here now?

Got UE58TU7100K with no picture - backlight comes on though. Figured out that's a perfect candidate for cut tape method.
This model has just one LVDS tape coming off main board - and two panel boards underneath the LCD screen are connected to each other via small tape. Like curved screens. I've tried to disconnect half of the screen (5he side without LVDS connector on it, obviously), no joy.

I have 7yrs old LG OLED 55EC930v. One day a white line appeared on mid of the screen. 10mins later it was disappeared. When turned on tv again it was appeared again. Currently when power on tv is clicking sound relay, LG logo illuminates, 3 seconds later clicking sound relay and tv goes off. Screen is black during this on off period. When trying with service remote(pwr on) , clicking sound, white vertical line appears on screen(drawing line from up to down) and clicking sound then tv goes off. Please see video below.
