Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
I saw that there are also 10 to 6 pin gearboxes, but are all of them capable of programming atmega162?Last edited by falcontech; 06-21-2020, 08:12 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
The number of pins is less relevant than the signals they contain

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
ok but I would like a model that is right for me, there are many and I would not want to make a mistake in the purchase, I don't know if everyone can program the atmega169 and many have 8/10 pins and not 6 outgoingLeave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
Can you recommend a usb programmer for atmega169? the connector on the board has 6 pinsLeave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
I hoped it was the other way round, the thing about having to load the firmware unnerves me enough I don't think it's an easy operation, also because I don't know where to find the firmware, it is not downloadable from the numark website but it is updated via serato itchLeave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
Go right ahead, but it's more certain the ATmega is toast; the usb chip is just a "maybe".Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
yes I understand what you mean, in fact I would like to replace the usb chip firstLeave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
Well, without the firmware for the ATmega, i'm not sure how far chip-swapping will get you.Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
so what do you recommend to replace both? or do I try to replace them one at a time?Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
Well, they're both supplied from the same source, and the codec chip got burnt, soooo....
And yes, the ATmega is a pretty widespread microntroller. Probably the easiest way might be with a USBasp adapter.Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
I read that the atmega162 is a chip that needs programming, I suppose it contains the controller firmware, if I replace it, how will I reprogram it later?Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
Do you think both of them are burnt? What do you advise me to do?Leave a comment:

Re: Numark NS6 Usb problem
I see the "+5VA" rail also powers the Atmega162 that connects directly to the ISP1583 USB interface. What're the odds that's thoroughly toasted as well?Leave a comment:

Numark NS6 Usb problem
Hello
I have a problem with this board, it is the main board of the numark NS6 controller, the board has already undergone a repair, the two components highlighted in the photo have been replaced, the larger chip which is a CS5368-CQZ of the cirrus logic burned in continuation due to the breakdown of the smaller chip which is a voltage regulator (Ap1510) which instead of 5 volts supplied 12 volts and burned the CS5368-CQZ. Solved this problem I tried to connect it to the PC via USB but not by signs of life, so it is not detected by the computer, I state that the controller turns on regularly. I would be grateful if someone could help me, replacing the card costs more than 300 euros and it's not worth it. I enclose a photo of the card and the service manual of the controller. Thank youTags: None

by theone111I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.
In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.- Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again. - Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.

by foshlandHi to all, I have a XPS 9560 with some faults, im working on it for fun, I have a "burned" zone I need to dremel but afterwards ill need a photo of the zone for rebuilding as far as I can, I have the schematics and the boardview but will like a photo, if some of you can get any so I see the traces will be cool.
It was some kind of lucky that the zone had not too much components, so I think I can deal with it.
Its under the zone where PC308 PC309 and PC337 is located, next to PU300
Thanks a lot for all and "pray" for me...

by Zeonalbastai have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double... -

by perzyk23Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise.... - Loading...
