    I have searched without success so far, Can anyone help?

    that should be so simple you don't even need schematics.
    also you can take advantage of fact that those are 2 same circuits for 2 channels.
    if one channel works ok then it can help you troubleshoot other.
    other than that you're left with power supply...and pots...

      It is something so simple that I felt embarassed to ask. It is the value of the lamp for the stereo signal which is missing as I removed it many years ago for an ID but now is lost.

        turn it on,tune to a stereo signal,measure voltage.
        iirc the mpx chip can only source about 30 ma to drive the lamp.
        might be a job for an led?

              The stereo output for the indicator light is 15V when full signal. I found a led from a portable tv. I have had no luck finding two 8V x .15w dial light bulbs.

                uses 2 lights?
                try 2 led's in series and a 470 ohm resistor.
