ONKYO TX-SR604 No HDMI output on some sources

I bought an ONKYO TX-SR604 second hand.

Everything works fine when I connect a Fetch TV set top box and a Beyonwiz PVR to it. But it seems to reject some sources like PS3 super slim and CC1 when I connect them using the exact same setup. There is no audio, no video whatsoever. All I see is the no signal display on the television.

Is this normal?

I have already tried changing the 100uF capacitors on the HDMI board, but no change.

What've you changed those capacitors with?

Same value capacitors but higher voltage rating.

I doubt the capacitors are the cause of this
