S/PDIF output circuit - help fill in the blanks

I recently picked up a Channel Master CM-7000 DTV converter box, which has an inactive S/PDIF coax output on the back. I'd like to try installing the missing circuitry to see if the output works, but I need a little help with the necessary component values.

Please see the attached photo. RA7 connects to the digital output from the decoder chip, and the lead going to RPR1 is the center conductor of the S/PDIF RCA jack.

    Missing are 4 resistors, 3 capacitors, and 2 transistors. Using a DMM, I measured +1.65V @ RA7, +5V @ RD60, and +5V @ CD28/QD9. Any theories what the missing components should be?

I don't know and guessing is quite hard: these are acronyms you have to look in schematics, not values.
Usually electronic equipments follow a common project: the manifacturer design a very complete model then strips down whatever isn't necessary in order to fill the low-line market; low-line products have a different name with, I'll bet, a lower number or a shorter one. Find your 7000' big brother, the better equipped version that almost surely has a S/PDIF connection, and look for its schematics: you'll find your answer there.
As a start, your target may be a CM-8000DTV or a CM-7000DTVS (S as S/pdif): in short something as old as yours but with a "more important" name.

Lock at the data sheet, there is a circuit provided. usually it is not difficult to add it.

Onkyo HT-R390 no sound output, video output ok
        by FrancescoV
        Good morning everyone,
I'm trying to repair an onkyo ht-r390 that has no sound output, despite the volume being at maximum, the rest seems to work; the video output signal (coming from an hdmi input) is present, but the audio is absent. Similar situation if I send an audio signal from any input I have no output.

The firmware reported is the following:
        M:1.00/11107BLP
        D:?.??/????????
        O:1.00/11107AL

The DSP firmware given the question marks seems corrupt.

On the BCHDM-0678 - 25140678 - QPWBCHDM0678A0 board the chip that usually seems...

Corsair CX750M [Model 75-002019] - burned output toroid inductor
        by momaka
Looks like I may need a little help from the PSU experts (or anyone really! ) I have a Corsair CX750M (Model 75-002019) that I picked up for free about 4 years ago. This is the PSU:

So here’s what’s strange about this one: it appears to work normally (normal output voltages) and any PC is stable with it. However, after a while (typically 10-20 minutes, but time can vary depending on the load), there is a sweetish smell of burned magnet wire insulation emanating from the PSU. Upon opening the PSU after this happened (many times), I was able to confirm...

Fixing the Charge Circuit of the Batteries of the DC Motor
        by Astonished
        Hi friends of electronics

What you see in the video and pictures attached is the circuit for charging the batteries of a DC motor.

The problem is that this circuit cannot charge the batteries (3 1800mAH NiMH batteries) any more. When the circuit was OK, its green LEDs lit up one at a time to show that the batteries have charged more. But now that the circuit is flawed, LEDs light up as you see in the video and at the same time successive beeps are heard.

Please help me fix this circuit.

Troubleshooting PFC with SPC1012T not raising output
        by CoppellTVRepair
It has been a long while since I posted here to ask anything....hope you can help.

I have this Samsung power supply that uses SPC1012T as driver for the PFC and it's giving me a problem that I can't narrow down though I've troubleshooted and fixed hundreds of boards similar circuits.

I am attaching a schematic from a different Samsung board, but the topography is very very similar if not 100% the same and it uses SPC1012T, which BTW is a pinout match to UCC28063 for which there's plenty of information. I haven't confirmed they are functional equivalents, but I strongly...

Copper corrosion? Yamaha HS8S Audio 1 output only
        by mecha1166
OAUD Yamaha HS8S Audio one output only.

I have pulled the output board. Output txsistors are ok (only 2 main output). Everything measures the same on each side. Customer did not bring in speakers so I cannot go too deep. I did notice a greenish tint on the tip of the solder joints that connect to the COPPER output connectors. All 6 have a greenish tint at the tip - each side has 3 pins each. Anyone else have copper speaker output pins that corrode at the place on the PCB where they are soldered? I will try to add a photo. Thanks.
