    pioneer A-307R flashing leds on front panel, possible short

    I have a pioneer A-307R here and what it does is flash all of the leds on the front and nothing more.

    I got the thermal camera out on it and saw that Q451 was getting hot, so I removed it and the lights now come on as normal, but obviously that part of the amp doesn't work.

    I tried replacing it, but it goes back to its flashing lights thing again.

    I noticed too that on the back of the board R465 - R467 - R 469 are all getting red hot (over 100 degrees C)

    Im guessing I have a short here somewhere, but so far I have not managed to find it.

    I have attached the schematic for this if anyone with a better brain can figure out what is going on here.

    Finding the wrong part at a loooong led strip, part works fine, part flickers, all parallel...
    by edugimeno
    Hi There!
    I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
    He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
    It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
    The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

    Pioneer VSX-1021 MCACC flashing, can't find problem
    by burntonnerings
    Have a Pioneer VSX-1021 that goes to MCACC flashing as soon as it is plugged in.

    If I enter release mode, it powers on, the screen display is correct, but then it shuts down and goes back to MCACC after a few seconds. I can shut it down to standby (w/o flashing MCACC if I hit the power button as soon as release mode finishes the boot sequence).

    Entering reset mode and executing a reset doesn't change this.

    I am unable to enter service mode to see the error counts - Enter + Power button doesn't do anything, whether from normal standby or from MCACC flashing....

    Samsung UN55MU6290F Panel Short, help fixing
    by EazyBone
    So the one guy said the panel short potentially could be fixed so, here's a TV. TV reboots continuously. Backlights work fine. I put some tape on the top ribbon and the TV was able to turn on and get picture. I attached a pic of which lines I taped as well as some other pics of the buffer boards. Appears the "short" is on the right side buffer board. There are no esd diodes that I see.

    Anything can be done?

    Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
    by DynaxSC
    Hi Folks

    I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

    I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
    After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
    The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...

    SAMSUNG UN50F600 Panel short
    by unimatrix93
    Hello all, I have a presumably SAMSUNG UN50F600 (sticker is gone from the backside and it was purchased used without box, so don't know the exact model number) with black screen issue.

    I check the PSU/MB and both showing the correct voltages. Backlight working too.

    On the T-CON, I measured:

    VGL = 0.05V
    VGH = 1V
    VVD = 1.16V
    VCOM = 0.6V

    And If I disconnect the left side of the panel, I get white screen on the right side and the following values on the T-CON:

    VGL = 12.5V
    VGH = 30.5V
    VVD =...
