When I select program waschen light pulses like it does normally and than just dies. If I try to start the program immediately than the program starts and dies after a few seconds. How do you even figure out what is wrong, there is nothing to check? Or am I missing something? Images in the attachments...

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
Only 2 year warranty that expired already. For this model you needed to buy extended warranty for 50 € for additional 3 year warranty...
Took out circuit board and it looks good visually
Also I am not from Germany but looks like the supplier of the shop where we bought this washing machine imported it from Germany...
Everything turns off. Than I have to disconnect it for a minute and connect it and it works again for 15 seconds...Last edited by Audison; 07-17-2017, 11:06 AM.Comment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
After a closer look I see now that there are some elements burned :O
Is this fixable? What kind of elements are they? I will try to remove them from the board tomorrow...
Also what cause them to burn? it's something else broken on the washing machine or just fired because poor elements quality??Comment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
The high-voltage on that attracts dust and dirt, humidity, the diode looks black from oxidization, I do not think it looks burnt. It should be OK but you can test it.
Check the board for bad solder joints on all the big through-hole parts like relays, connectors. Number one problem with appliance boards.
What you are seeing might be nothing to do with the board. The machine may have a sensor problem and the controller decides to stop.
Bosch makes this pretty cheap, like their car dashboards with printed resistorsComment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
look up your model number there will be a test mode . it will tell you where the fault is .
check motor brushes . and check for broken wires . see if door lock is working . check pump is not blocked and can be spun easily .Comment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
The model number is WAA28162 (Bosch Classixx 5) but I can't find the test mode...
I checked everything motor, broken wires, door lock and pump and all works fine.
Also tried running the cold water program and tried to disconnect one connector at the time to see if I can find what the problem is but every time is the same. The program continues running but after one spin it shuts down. If I disconnect the power and reconnect it after the door unlocks in will work again for one spin and shut down again...Comment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
Update: I got a second hand board same model 5560 004 325 but from Siemens and the washing machine works again. Thanks again for all your advice. I am happy that I posted it here and manage to fix it for 15€. You can really see how much better quality Siemens board is compared to Melecs board. On my washing machine they really cut corners to keep the cost down. Lesson learned just buy 5 year warranty model to avoid this kind of problems. I will attempt to fix the broken board if the replacement dies until then keep helping newcomers on badcapsComment

Re: Bosch washing machine dies after 15 seconds
Next cause I find is the sensors, they get gummed up with lint, soap, water etc.
Water pressure switch (9000207680 has solder joints inside!), leak detect microswitch, door switch, thermistor temp sensor, etc.
I hate repairing appliances involving water because of the guesswork. Firmware diagnostics are pretty abysmal.
Sometimes I'm happy to find a bobby pin or Lego toy in the pump.Comment

by SoulzinkHi everyone,
I am trying to fix a samsung washinmachine power supply main board.
I already replaced it with another one to fix the machine but i want to try understand the issue with the old board.
Therefore i hope to be able to get some help to explain what to check in order to troubleshoot.
The power supply board reference is the following: DC41-00189a
I have followed one thread (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ingmachine-rel... -
by amelbyeFor future reference: the washing machine is a Boss MAXX 6 - WAE32160NN/01. the power supply board is labeled 5560 005 559, 9000159339, 9000162937, 170706/418 and 5560 004 652.
Recently my washing machine has started smelling like burnt electronics during use. It still works, but after a bit of sniffing around I found that it was most likely the PSU board. It has serveral burnt areas.
Surprisingly I can't seem to find any malfunctioning components. The worst condition (most burnt) part seems to be the switch mode transformer, and it's not a standard part, so I don't see... -
by mojos911I got a Asko washing machine that has had the flat ribbin cable sustain damage from some corrosion. I have tried to repair it but the ribbon cant sustain the repair and keep breaking. I was trying to source a new LED display but I cant figure out how to try and source one. the information on the back of the display is 13669-LED-A-A173-161007-RoHs. Its also a negative display witha 17v supply for the LED back light and the connectors are 26 pin x 2. What do i have to provide to try and source one of these?...

by mojos911Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a replacement for the red LEDs used in a Fisher & Paykel 10 kg top-load washing machine. Each LED is about 6 mm long, mounts flush to the PCB with side tabs, and measures around 1.7 V forward voltage in diode-test mode. The marking on the body is “3A56,” but I can't find any matches for that in part searches. I've attached photos to show the shape and mounting style.
If anyone has sourced an equivalent or knows a suitable replacement, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance for the help!... -
by stomanataHi,
This washing machine has power module emc18aecn1 and programmer ewx14931 914913208.
It stop after electric shock.
When i choose only spin it show 12min remaining. After 1min it start drain pump, after
second it start relay (measured 12v ot relay`s coil) that deliver 230V to power module.
This is also ~1second and then pump and relay stop. After ~2min this repeat - pump,
after it relay and both stop.
There is no error.
Can somebody help me to try to fix it?5 Photos - Loading...
