Fisher and Paykel 10 kg top-load washing machine LED identification

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a replacement for the red LEDs used in a Fisher & Paykel 10 kg top-load washing machine. Each LED is about 6 mm long, mounts flush to the PCB with side tabs, and measures around 1.7 V forward voltage in diode-test mode. The marking on the body is “3A56,” but I can't find any matches for that in part searches. I've attached photos to show the shape and mounting style.

If anyone has sourced an equivalent or knows a suitable replacement, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance for the help!

Thank you. Getting harder and harder to find the parts with out the original part numbers for identification.

those leds are just for the indicators under the buttons?
they wont be 1w, probably only using a few mA

These are special LED's - they reverse-mount on the PC board backside and shine their light through a hole in the board.
They look the same format as 1W "bead LED's" (7.3mm dia) but much smaller.
Nothing available for a round hole. There are plenty of bottom-mount gull wing 3528 but these are square.
I would see if 1206 round could fit Ali with some creative solder blob.

stj they are the buttons LEDs, Yes.
LS P47K-K1K2-1-Z-KS, Point LED, SMD Super Red, 630nm, 2mA, 1.8V, from Osram - I got some coming in from Germany. So well see.
Interesting development though when I removed the LED from circuit they tested witht the diode mode on the multimeter - OK but the fault cleared on the circuit. The original fault was the LEDs would not illuminate and when tested with diode mode on MMeter the LEds that wont on where testing either OL or giving a reading in both directions of say .6v So maybe the LEDs are ok because now that i pulled them out of circuit and tested agian with diode mode on Mmeter that are all showing correct readings. So now I'm having to reevaluate my findings.

i actually thought they may be from osram - the package style reminded me of a super-bright led called golden-dragon or something like that.

btw, i have seen leds light but also meter in both directions.
so reverse breakdown while still functioning is not impossible.

Hi stj, redwire and mon2 Got what i needed from Germany and wallah, all is right again with the panel. Interesting how when the faulty ones where removed from the pcb their readings would show 1.7v when testing with multimeter in diode mode but sure as I'm sitting here typing this, I replaced the three suspected faulty ones and its all good again. Thanks for your advice.
