    Ariston Hotpoint KIB633CE Induction Hob repair assistance needed

    Hi
    I bought a faulty Ariston Hotpoint KIB633CE Induction Hob
    It has 3 induction zones, 1 is working and 2 not.
    I was expecting a faulty IGBT. Indeed, that was faulty, but unfortunately it also has some damage on the driver part. The second IGBT on the same microcontoller does not appear faulty, but that zone was nto working neither.
    I attach some pictures.
    Right now my biggest problem is, that 2 of the IGBT drivers are not looking good and i cannot find what type is it.
    They are SOT23-5 package, pin 2 on GND and pin 5 on output, connected through a 27Ohm resistor to the IGBT gate.
    They are marked 100TP as on the attached picture.
    Also, i cannot find anything on the microcontroller, marked SH16MVTJ
    This board also comes in a 4 zone variant, on my board the fourth zone is simply not populated.
    Any schematic, tip, or repair advice is welcome.

      OK
      I made some progress, but there is still lot to da
      I attach a photo of the board after cleaning and another one after removing some parts.
      What i know for sure: resistors R108, R109, R40, R41, R64 are faulty and i will change them.
      Capacitors C2 C25 C31 are damaged and C1 is short, so i will replace. These all seem t be 100nF
      Problem is with the semiconductors.
      Diode D12 had some damage around it, but i unsoldered it and looks OK when tested.
      Diode D24 is even stranger, because is already discolored, but even so looks OK tested.
      If i know what type is it, i could replace it, but no idea how to find out.
      It looks like the Q20 is a voltage regulator. Unsoldered measures like the good one on the working zone, so i may keep this. Again, not sure about the part number.
      Problem is with the U2 and U4 chips. These are IGBT drivers but i cannot identify them without a schematic.
      Pins are like this:
      1 = IN
      2 = GND
      3 = EN/NC
      4 = OUT
      5 = VDD
      Marking is 100TP, like in the attached picture and are SOT23-5 case

      Please help if you can.

      Best regards,
      Janos

            Vizio E55-F1 dark backlight zones. LED failure or Dimming Zone Driver?
            by howardc64
            Problem

            Fixing a dimming zone TV with LEDs not lighting up. Dimming zone circuit introduces added variable to diagnose LED and/or Dimming Zone Driver board? Some 1/2 rows of LEDs appears to be out in active dimming zone off AND some brightness flickering with active dimming zone high while playing changing video

            Model & Board Pics

            Conflicting Spec

            Vizio indicate this TV has 10 dimming zones. However, LED strips and Zoned light driver connector suggest 12

            Power amplifier SMPS IGBT keeps blowing - Artcoustic PDA1000
            by mikkele86
            hello.

            I have two power amplifiers, both having their IGBT blown on the PSU.
            The original mounted IGBT where marked with IRGB20B60PD1PbF and the gate driver is a IR2156STRPBF.

            I looked at mouser and digikey and could not find any available IRGB20B60PD1PbF and somehow ended up using a Bourns BIDW20N60T.
            I replaced the gate driver, the gate resistor and both IGBT. But as soon power is turned on, both IGBT shorts out completely (gate, emitter, collector) and the fuse on the AC line gets killed.

            So I though i missed a capacitor or diode. I removed...

            HP Omen 15-ek0013dx - Odd 4-Zone RGB Issue, Replacing Entire Keydeck Didn't Fix It
            by siccfix
            Replaced the keyboard+LED backlight+topdeck unit with a completely assembled aftermarket part a few months ago due to failing keys (Spacebar, X, R; seems to be a common issue for 2020 model). I thought this would also fix my RGB backlight issue but the problem remains, actually it got worse, so it has to be a failing part on the mobo itself. The middle RGB zone can no longer light up blue and is instead stuck on green, even if all kb backlight is turned off that zone stays lit..

            Does anyone know what part number the IC labeled UI3 is? Seems to be some kind of LED controller chip....

            DELL XPS 9560 Burned zone need photo please
            by foshland
            Hi to all, I have a XPS 9560 with some faults, im working on it for fun, I have a "burned" zone I need to dremel but afterwards ill need a photo of the zone for rebuilding as far as I can, I have the schematics and the boardview but will like a photo, if some of you can get any so I see the traces will be cool.

            It was some kind of lucky that the zone had not too much components, so I think I can deal with it.

            Its under the zone where PC308 PC309 and PC337 is located, next to PU300

            Thanks a lot for all and "pray" for me ...

            Induction hob issue
            by _ASH_
            Hi Guy's, I currently have a Beko induction hob (Model: HII64201MT) and the right hand side dosn't detect the pans.

            The left side works perfectly, but when I put the pans on the right side, the digital display displays U and I don't hear any clicking (like it's trying to detect the pans)

            Can anyone advise me on this & to what parts I will need to repair?

            Many thanks in advance

            Ash...
