Replaced the keyboard+LED backlight+topdeck unit with a completely assembled aftermarket part a few months ago due to failing keys (Spacebar, X, R; seems to be a common issue for 2020 model). I thought this would also fix my RGB backlight issue but the problem remains, actually it got worse, so it has to be a failing part on the mobo itself. The middle RGB zone can no longer light up blue and is instead stuck on green, even if all kb backlight is turned off that zone stays lit..
Does anyone know what part number the IC labeled UI3 is? Seems to be some kind of LED controller chip. And the ones around it labeled QI16-QI24 look like transistors? Pin1 on QI16 goes to Pin1 of the RGB backlight connector labeled CNI3 on the other side of the board. Attached the boardview file for anyone interested.
