Philips curling iron - is this a common AC cable?

    Hi all,

Wife has 2 Philips hair curling irons half defective - after learning how they're supposed to work and testing them, it turned out that both have defective power cables, and both on the same place; broken wires due to wire bending.
As they were both relatively easy to disassemble, and cables are plugged not soldered (as they can rotate in the handle), I was sure it would be easy to find replacements. But - NO! I'm unable to find anything similar on ebay or Aliexpress.

Not sure if this is something Philips proprietary, or a standard, but the cable plug looks like on attached picture, with pin diameter 2,4mm, and second contact diameter 7,5mm.
Has anyone come across something similar? I'm only willing to pay a few € for it.
(Or does someone know of a similar/universal solution for rotating 220V AC cable that I could use instead, of course with changing the inner female part? Power rating is not important as both curlers have about 50W.)

    Thanks in advance!

      Yes it does, thank you!

Unfortunately I cannot see the prices on kg-part website, but if I try with "Hair Straightener Power Cable" on AliExpress I do get something similar, but with a price tag of about 25€, which is insane. DIY repair for the win, I suppose. Not equally sturdy or pretty, but works.

Found this one on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/316784287356

You may want to ask seller with the model number of the iron
Or try contacting your local Philips service center

I've had similar idea, unfortunately to contact them via their website, one of the mandatory fields is the "purchase date", which immediately just triggered something in my brain so I just closed the page -and this was just on the first page, and second one is indicatively called "Personal Info"- I'm trying to get the cable, not sell my soul to the corporate devil.
I'll see if there are some other, "simpler" options for contact.
