Rechargable LED circuit 16W 220AC volt

unamed controller ic , one diode bridge
MLS3535A Mosfet (guess), A1sHB mosfet. 12 1W leds, 10 0.5W leds, bunch of resistors, one capacitor, 2 zener diodes

blown MLS3535A, removing and testing shows OL in diode mode all combination tested. (Pin 1, pin2-3-4, pin 5678 connected) after removing this component

without MLS3535A, AC powered, voltage between Pin234 and Pin5678 is 80V DC, 60V AC, and the outer most ring of 12 LED( 1W) glows faintly.

    please help diagnose

That MLS3535 is a current controlled LED driver. There are a lot of complaints with lights that use this LED driver. What is U2? Can’t see it on the pic, but has something to do with the charger.
Overall this lamp must be flickering a bit, since there is no bulk capacitor after the rectifier?

CapLeaker , flickering was indistinguishable when it was working fine,
i am thinking of shorting the Mosfet with wire between the Source and Drain.

maybe add a capacitor for good measure between +ve 320 and -ve (gnd).

You do know that LEDs are current controlled, not voltage controlled. This MLS chip is a current controlled LED driver. I guess as for flickering, some people are more sensitive than others and it is a big complaint with this MLS chip.

CapLeaker the leds on outer ring are rated 18V and 1W ie they draw 55.56 mA current, so can I just replace the MLS chip with any other mosfet that can handle/give the the required current?

and capacitor of value 600 uF , 400V will give 1 V ripple, for 50 Hz input frequency and 60 mA current. calculated using C = I/(2*f*V_pp)

is this one of those things that looks like a lamp bulb?
is it the lithium one or the lead-acid one?

i don't understand this thing in my circuit.
the outer ring LEDs are 56 mA 18V 1W but inner ring LEDs are 167mA 3V 0.5W but they are connected in series as per tracing and schematic.

                so what is limiting?
will the LEDs take 56 mA or 167 mA on AC?

on dc this is not a problem as the outer ring is turned off via a mosfet.

1970 Metal Lathe Control Circuit blowing fuses on the 120 volt section failing meager test below 60 mega ohms
                    by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this machine yesterday and I now going to use an incandescent lights instead of a fuses to figure out what the issue is with it blowing control voltage rail but this not the only issue the coolant pump failed the meager test as well as the main motor as well this motor has 12 motor wire leads instead of the normal 9 wires

This metal lathe has a weird motor setup it has a soft start motor with a “Y” and a delta type of motor winding setup and it is not done in the motor pucker head enclosure it is with four different contactors wired in a configuration I have not...

                    op amp circuit function?
                    by Alimash
                    Hi,
I am repairing a ups which doesn't turn on ,it has the following ICs:
SG3525 used to drive inverter mosfets.
couple of uc3483, one for the power supply and another to drive a big mosfet at the output stage(i think the technique is called boost)
A LM358 and TL074 for control mechanism and of course the uController.

The SG3525 is shutting down every time the ups is turned on.
I want your help to know the function of LM358 and TL074 in the system.
I reverse engineered the LM358 circuit and i think that one of the block(A) is used for battery level...

Fixing the Charge Circuit of the Batteries of the DC Motor
                    by Astonished
                    Hi friends of electronics

What you see in the video and pictures attached is the circuit for charging the batteries of a DC motor.

The problem is that this circuit cannot charge the batteries (3 1800mAH NiMH batteries) any more. When the circuit was OK, its green LEDs lit up one at a time to show that the batteries have charged more. But now that the circuit is flawed, LEDs light up as you see in the video and at the same time successive beeps are heard.

Please help me fix this circuit.

Lenovo L490 Ram voltage circuit malfunction
                    by rddube
                    Hello friends,

Looking for some guidance here. The RAM voltage circuit on this motherboard keeps burning out PU301 which is a RT8231AGQW. Copy of the board with the burnt chip attached with some voltage measurements and copy of the schematics also included.

I think I've checked almost every component in the circuit, but when I change the RT8231, the laptop starts I have 1.2V on the inductor for about 10 seconds and then the RT8231 goes south and no more voltage on the inductor. All other voltages on the laptop are good, this is the only one conking out for a reason I...

                    Short Circuit tester
                    by Tarot Superstars
                    Hello.
I have seen a short circuit tester made with 3 * 9V batteries, a voltage limiter component and a resistor connected to the probes of a multimeter.
The theory is that the meter becomes sensitive enough to read very low resistances and the lowest resistance to ground on a circuit is likely to be a short circuit in that area.
