    Recuperator is not working

Hello, I have got a recuperator that is not working, the problem is in the pcb but I can not really determine in which part exactly.
I have an exact second one and these are the differences I found:

    1.
    Bad PCB's:
2 Triacs BTS136 read 0.245 across the diode junctions.
    Good PCB's triacs read 0.588.
    I did measure in circuit
The JST16A triac reads the same in both pcbs.

    2.
Resistor which I marked as R1
    Bad PCB's - 1.4kOhm
    Good PCB's - 4.5kOhm
Could it have fried something because of that and how did the resistance drop so much?

    3.RED,Yellow,Green,Blue LED's
Non of them are working using multimeter, on the other hand on the good PCB they are fine.

    4.
Where I marked SH1 I assume these are the shottky diodes not really sure, but,
In the good PCB forward voltage drop in all of them - 0.7
backwards 2.7 and fluxuattng because of other components I suppose.

On the bad PCB forward drop is around 0.6-0.7 across them.
What is interesting that on the SH1 backwards connection of multimeter also shows 0.7 constant.

The 10 amp fuse is fine.

One final note - I measured everything in circuit, have not remove the components yet.

Would really appreciate if someone could give me some insights what could the problem be or just give me some hints of what is potentially wrong.
The recuperator was working fine and stopped, don't really have an idea what happened but if by any chance water shorted the terminals, not on the PCB but the ones that go to the motor, what is the most probable component to blow.

    Best Regards, Rokas

Sorry SH1 is a zenner diode

      so, what is this for?
i see a high voltage generator and a full 2way infrared link and a temperature/humidity sensor?

        Re: Recuperator is not working

there is a broken solder joint near the 4way screw terminal block - it's a large resistor

          Re: Recuperator is not working

I am not really sure what it each part does but, talking about the device it is mounted half inside half outside it is supposed to bring fresh air and remove contaminated air from the apartament.
There is also a remote with which you control speed of the fan/motor. Can also turn on heat exchanger so it only pulls hot air from outside. And yeah there is a temperature/humidity sensor the blue square one. I assume it starts spinning the motors accordingly if it detects either.
On the 4 way screw comes 230 AC and 2 motor wires

          1. Also I found one problem, the capacitor which I marked C1 in the picture reads short with continuity mode. Could it be the problem?

          2. About the broken joint is it the one I marked up in the attached image?

Also did not mention that the device doesn't even turn on using the remote.
          Best Regards

            Update
Both of the capacitors C2 and C1 read short in circuit with continuity measurement.

Look for a shorted zener diode across those caps.
              Possibly in the 5v supply.

Also i have compared some value with the working pcb. And this zener "SH1"
shows 75kohm reading, while on the good pcb it is 6.4Mohms

it is in the range of the megaohms, values were the same in the bad and working pcbs, SH1 only differed

                            Use diode check, not resistance.

But in the case of zeners, that only checks the forward direction.

These appear to use a capacitive dropper power supply for the 5v & related stuff. But you can probably connect a USB supply for testing.

Those red diodes aren't marked on the PCB; they can either be general purpose, like SMD 4148s, or zeners. For regulation, zeners typically have their anode (non banded end) connected to the negative side of those electrolytics.

Solder C2 and check it in non-circuits (it happens that they are short), if it is normal, then either C1 or the controller remains.

Desoldered both c1 and c2 they are both fine.
The empty tracks still read short, it means something further is short? Chip?

                                        Hello,

i have many 5050sff. all of them, and how i experienced over many years for all about 250 DELLs goin through my hands, are fully flashable and can be serviced in any way when the service_mode jumper is set.
Never ever i experienced problems with that.

Now i have one 5050sff machine, where this jumper isnt working at all.
I do not get the normal messge that the jumper is set when booting and a short test with FPT just confirms this. Everything is locked -->> EVEN for reading !?

The history of the machine is that i used it in my office...

                                        Hi,

I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.

However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).
The SATA 4-7 driver network is quite simple chipset<->buffers/drivers<->SATA...

Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working. Power button is working fine.

I've checked boardview and also schematics but i'm not able to find anything related to TouchID ... i have similar issue on a2338 where there was problem with PP3V0_TOUCHID and after replacing UT610 it was working but here i'm not able to find anything related to...

Hi masters, I need your help.

I am working on Lenovo Legion 16ITHg6
Motherboard number NM-D721, no BV, no schematic but I am attaching very closes ones.

INPORTANT: My motherboard version is with IT8258 IC, that is controlling keyboard and RGB LEDs.

My problem is on UI142, +3VALW_AG is not stable, floating from 0V to 3,3V.
AGKB_PWR_EN_N signal is floating too (that is why+3VALW_AG not stable).
Power LED is not working as well, power button working well.
UI26 ??? is there any firmware too? Powered by +3VALW_AG.

                                        Motherboard...

                                        Hi.

I have 2 Lenovo laptops (A485 and T480) with identical USB problem.
When I plug in a USB 3.x device (USB storage), the USB ports are working normal.
But as soon I plug in USB 2.0 device (mouse, USB storage), all the USB ports stop working. Even if I plug in USB 3.x device.

The only way to get USB working again is disconnect battery and reset BIOS.

                                        Has anyone had anything similar?
I have not yet tried another BIOS, but would that be the problem with USB?

                                        Thank you.
