it looks like a multi-element/vesel version of what i'v worked on.

lets check all the shit that fails!
so check the themal switches bolted to the main heater bodies,
then disconnect the elememts one at a time and check the reistance of the coil AND resistance to the copper body.

the most common failures are thermal switch failure and the element sleeve splitting causing rust to link the iron element to the outer grounded jacket.
this is actually a bit dangerous here because you arent using copper pipes - i would never be using pvc for hot water pipes!

Could be also simple as air bubbles.
I don't have fibre anything around here either. I can be happy having my cable internet that I had to get back then. Fast forward almost 20 years, now it would be impossible to get connected to that cable internet, because of the length needed for the run and to what cost.

I would agree with you about this however I have lived in this house for 20 years now and how my was plumbing was done I just added more to connect the tankless water heater to the house water supply

Unfortunately the plumbing pipes are under the concrete floor and I am not about to even begin to replace it unless it starts leaking and I have no other choice in the matter

I going to try the restrictors and see if this makes a difference or not or might have put a one way valve on the output side of the tankless water line to keep the temperature sensor from seeing the wrong temperature
Mind you this is only a educated guess to maybe going on but until I try this I would always wonder if could be an issue

It would not be so bad if this cable/internet provider would not try to rip you off when the issue was on there end and not telling you that it was a system failure issue REALLY an update I got the charges reversed but I had to go to their customer service center to get it resolved and the sad part of this is I have had to do this several times in the past so it is getting very annoying to say the least

It could be air bubbles but my question is how if basically a straight through pipe with a heater element in the center of the tube so I do not know what would cause this unless the water company is having issues again because in the past we have had low pressure and sometimes it has lasted for months at a time so who knows

Why is that valve partially closed on the bigger heater's inlet?
I would expect cavitation bubbles to be getting into the flow sensor's turbine and screwing it up.

Isn't the right spot to throttle this at the (load) the shower heads, not in or out of the heater?

Vaillant 242 Gas Water heater. Shortcut in board anc compatibility with model 282
                by edugimeno
                Hi!!
Yesterday I was installing a new Wifi thermostat for my domestic gas water heater model Vaillant 242/2-3, and accidentlly one wire from mains touched one wire from the thermostat output contacts. This shut off the heater so I finished installing the thermostat and then went out to check the heater

I found one fuse blown (T2 250V). Replaced it with another equivalent fuse and it blew right away. I measured L-N in mains input and I sometimes got 4K but sometimes, not sure why, I got 100 Ohm...
At a certain point, moving stuff around, I put all wires back in place and...

Busted tankless electric water heater control board
                by nop
Hi. I have an old Bosch/Powerstar AE125 water heater in my cabin whose control board died for the nth time. This time around, I figured I'd try to diagnose and repair it. At the end of the board's life its power indicator LED will quickly cycle on and off as water passes through the heater, rather than remaining steadily on as it normally would, and water at the tap remains cold. Slightly increasing pressure in the system by closing the outlet valve seems to delay the inevitable for a little while.

Here's all the info I found from Bosch regarding troubleshooting the board:

20 year old Kenmore refrigerator ice maker bad water valve coil took a crap
                by sam_sam_sam
I got lucky that when I got home and was about to get some ice out of the ice dispenser I hear and see water running down the outside of the ice dispenser what the heck is going on here

At first I thought that the ice dispenser mold was cracked so I brought a new ice maker because this one has been in there for about 10 years now

Well I put the new one in and wait and I wait for the water valve to open and let water in no such luck well there is a way to check the function of the motor and the water valve on this ice maker just need a jumper wire “L” to...

ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4) damaged Embedded Controller
                by master3112
                I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)

When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on...

Diesel heater emergency power supply / poor man's UPS
                by madan1
                Hello everyone.

Some background - I have one of those chinese diesel heaters, which I'm using to heat a garage. Probably most of you are familiar with that units, but here is some basic info - the main heater body is enclosed with the motherboard+sensors unit inside a plastic case. The heater has a glow plug, that works only when the unit is starting (start the fire in the burner) and stopping (make sure to completely burn the fuel inside the burner) and two fans on a single motor. One fan is used to push fresh air in the burner, the other is used to push cold air in the case and...
