I have a question? can we do it on Pam Organic Olive Oil Cooking Spray.....i mean BGA solder paste rework spray. Special formula can spray out solder powders and fluxes.

first mix solder powders and lard (or candle wax) together in the heat then let it freeze for 50 minutes to from a layer, cut into thin slices and use with BGA reballing work station. pic1
I have a question: Because of the difference in the proportion, how can solder powders and wax be evenly distributed?

So I though in my spare time I’d set myself up repairing motherboards mainly pin damaged lga1151 sockets types.
I’m using an achi ir sc pro rework station (gave up on my Achie ir6500 - don’t recommend)
I’ve managed to get my rework profile somewhere in the correct region (after a lot of trial and error) to get the old sockets off and reflow new ones back on again, the problems I’m getting is not all of the solder balls are re-attaching when re-flow occurs. I know this because when socket is removed pads still look clean and have no solder... -
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

Hello,
has anyone use these Brands of solder balls? The brand BEST writes on the label of the jar the specs of the solder balls instead of the Mechanic brand. I beleive that BEST brand must be more professional (in labeling at least) but I have never try one of them so I would like your opinion. By the way I hardly can I find the Mechanic brand in aliexpress (the only where I found was lead free solder balls) and on ebay these that I found are approximately15USD per jar. but it will working perfectly or it will die after short time ?

I have an Nvidia card which makes me wondering, what is the root cause for Mats errors. The story is as follows:
1. When I received the card Mats showed one memory with errors.
2. Replaced the memory chip, but no change, still same error, so memory chip is ruled out.
3. Made a carefull reballing of the GPU, MATS showed 3 memories with errors, the one before, and 2 other new chips.
4. Made a second reballing of the GPU and Mats shows again only one memory chip with errors, the same on as in the beginning.
