    Fixing a pealing PCB contact

I know these happen to be ground pins, so bypassing it would be easy
buy is the proper way to glue them down, if so what kind of glue, supper glue, hypoxy, etc.?

Yes, it's good stuff, but not cheap.

So would JB Weld Kwik or original be ok to use?

          I have both on hand

i could use some electrical tape to keep it off the other contacts and then clamp (tape would protect pcb from clamp) it and let it sit a day and use some rubbing alcohol to get any tape glue off
or would that just be a bad way to do it?

being edge connectors i would try superglue . should only need pushing onto socket once. whatever you use it needs to be very runny so it is very thin .

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
              by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

The Real Dangers of conductive glue.
              by mitsu2k
I know many folks on this forum warn against conductive glue and suggest removing it immediately upon site. I'm here to vouch and say these people know what they are talking about. To be more accurate, the glue isn't intended to be and doesn't actually start out conductive. It gets conductive as it is heated by components that get hot. The glue starts out to be a light tan color but as it is exposed to heat, it gets darker and darker until it is a dark brown. I have found that it becomes conductive at the point that it reaches a light brown color on darker.

              Here is an experience I...

in the plug included in the red circle I have two pins that are burnt black and connected to the thermostat contact my question is how does this board come out I imagine I have to peel off the mask from the front that includes the malfunction lights etc but I don't know if I have to use heat and also what glue I will use to re-glue it and secondly what could have caused this blackening on the plug pins bad contact of the thermostat that made an arc and passed a lot of current momentarily maybe it needs to be changed...

hp 15s-eq0012np contact points on the "type C" charger input were torn off
              by migax miranda
Hello, a "hp 15s-eq0012np" arrived to me, the only problem with it is that the contact points on the "type C" charger input were torn off. Can anyone tell me what the purpose of each "leg" of the connector is? Which ones are really necessary for it to charge the battery and turn on?
