I would have done the same thing from the back and push out

Re: Remove a Broken Male RCA Plug From Its Female Connector

Heh, I had to do the same thing once... Someone stuck in a 1/8" TRS phone plug into an RCA phono jack (really bright, I know...) and *BROKE* it off, perhaps in shame after finding out it was the wrong plug and couldn't easily pull it back out.

I ended up pushing it out from the back after disassembling the keyboard. It was kind of hard because the jack was partially enclosed and the metal was scraping against the inner conduit, but it eventually came out after prying the edges a bit. I initially thought it was a "normal" case and somehow someone broke the pin of a male phono plug, but when I finally got it out, why do people do this kind of stuff? Female phono plugs do not take 1/8" male phone plugs.

One letter makes a world of a difference!

        Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Don't probe Samsung LED conector with LED tester, connect may not make contact afterwards
        by howardc64
Samsung have been using this style LED connector for few years now

Usually good idea to test the LEDs before opening the panel to change them. I do this without the PSU stil connected. With this connector (white one) have to jam the LED tester probes in the very narrow thin slot where the PSU blade style male prong inserts into. I've done this on many Samsungs without problem until today...

The female terminal inside the white connector has fragile fingers that grabs onto the male blades on the PSU's black connector. If the LED tester probe spreads open...

I searched on digikey, mouser and aliexpress and i can't find any part similar. it's an uflex electric power steering, but i don't have more reference on the power steering block. if needed, i can buy any complete part just to recover the conector on the board and put it on this board...

Xbox Series X Console Won't Turn On - Broken Nexus Connector on Mainboard
        by gabri2211
        Hello everyone,
Inside the console there is a small circuit board (see photo) that contains the main power switch, the one on the front.
This circuit board connects to a 10-pin flat cable called NEXUS that terminates on the motherboard.
        This NEXUS connector broke.

Can anyone tell me, while waiting for a replacement, if it's possible to turn on the Xbox by disconnecting this circuit board and making some modifications (like adding a small power button) on the motherboard?

The Xbox has a power supply that provides 12 volts on all outputs, so the power...
