So a few bulbs had blown a while ago in this rather expensive light fixture, I bought new bulbs (16w) and put them in all was great until later that night when it suddenly completely turned off.
Having looked at the light again it has stickers next to each bulb socket stating 10w so i'm assuming it's just overloaded, the light has space for 6 bulbs at 10w each.
So i'd replaced 4 bulbs with 16w ones so it was using 2x10w and 4x16w when it went off, when really it should of only had 6x10w resulting in 60w, instead it had 84w, so I can only assume this was the problem.
Rather than bin it I thought i'd ask here if anyone can provide any help on diagnosing the faulty part, it converts the 240v to 12v.
Haven't taken any readings from it yet as it's been removed and been replaced, i'm hoping it's just a fuse somewhere but no idea what really to look for.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
