Hum... guys i had Samsung LCD monitor ...and i found out its cannot powered on.... im suspecting its the thermistor model SCK-2R55A ( 2.5ohm 170*c) i tested it with ohm meter and found its confuse to test sometime 2.8ohm sometime 4 and 5ohm ....i think its shorted... any idea ??

Re: Thermistor ??
The resistance does seem lower than it should be based on it's spec, but this will not keep it from being powered on, you have some other problematic part, not that.
If the power board is separate from the panel board, and if it looks like it has a load resistor on it for the primary output, try powering it while disconnected from the display and inverter board and measure the voltage.
What I would do next is unplug the inverter (CCFL driver) board (if separate) then try turning the monitor on. See if it appears to stay on and with video input and a strong light shining upon it you might see if there is anything displayed. Keep in mind the inverter circuit produces high voltage, handle with caution.

Manual: (Sorry search option not working on this PDF)
Hello guys, this autoclave running with 2 thermistors already connected TH1 and TH3(on CN1,CN2 sockets). One for the water temperture and second one for chamber temperature. But there is another emtpy socket for optional third thermistor CN2 wich is for TH2 for object temperature. I wanna add the third thermistor TH2 to CN2 socket. But i can't figure what model/brand/value i need to use. In manual document, there is no info about TH1 and TH3 model number... -
by Use2bavolvoI am having an issue with my wall oven temperature control is ~180f out of spec. The thermistor is measuring correctly but I noticed the ref voltage appears to be off. With the thermistor wires attached it's reading ~3.4vdc with the thermistor disconnected it's around I9.8vdc. my understanding is the temp is read off the resistance from the thermistor which leads me to believe the issue is with the ref voltage.
Another observation is the temp setting and readout at lower temps is way off meaning the oven thinks room temp is 300f and bake relay doesn't engage unless temp setting... -
by Quantum ICHello every one,
This TV came to me with the problem that it was totally dead.
The problem was the two MOSFETs and a fuse resistor in the power supply.
The original MOSFETs were KF7N50F and I repalced them with SLF65R700S2.
The original fuse resistor was 0.1 Ohm 1/2W. I didn't find a similar fuse resistor and I replaced it with 0.1 Ohm 5W ceramic resistor.
When I plug the TV the ST-BY LED turns on, when I press the power button on the TV, the ST-BY LED turns off and the TV doesn't turn on until the second time I press the power button is when the TV turns on,... -
by fab13Hi there,
I have a fat PS4 with the fuse (5a) of the power supply which blows with each power on and there was a loud snap in the power supply and again the same problem after replacing the fuse.
I did not find a short circuit
The component that broke in two is an SCK 084 thermistor (See photo)
and measured at 11 ohm
So far I haven't received a thermistor.
Do you think that if I replace the thermistor and the fuse it should go away, because I have the impression that there is a strong current demand as soon as you press... -
