    Multisim

Do any of you use this software? I have been using it for a number of years.
It is certainly very clever ,but it can be very frustrating .Thing that just dont work properly or not at all ?

Its electronic design software uses SPICE ,designs and runs circuits. You can also design PCB layouts.

Yes, I'm using it. What's the problem? Timestep? You can alsotry the NI forum, certainly better suited than this one here.

Multisim CAN be frustrating for complex circuits, especially if you use a slow computer.

I find it okay but difficult if the part you want to place is not in the masterdatabse

This is a cool program. It may not be perfect, but it seems to be a useful tool. Thanks Bud M for the link.

                Re: Multisim

I use it sometimes. I like it more than anything else I've tried because no other program seems to do 'realtime' simulation. (except Yenka, but it's for children - literally)

But I did find where IIRC the 40192 had an incorrect pin function definition. The input high\low operation was swapped for a pin. I had to edit the part file for it to work the same as in real life.
