    panasonic no picture

    hi I have a Panasonic TX-L42E3B uk model 240 volts the problem with it is the is sound but no picture the backlights are working and reacting to the picture going darker and lighter but the picture is not there I have changed the power board and t con board and ribbons but no change if I unplug one cable from the tcon board there is no change is there anyway to reset a Panasonic please be aware I can see nothing on screen no menu or anything would a new main board do it or do you think the panel itself is at fault thank you in advance

    did forget to say that all voltages from the power board are spot on

      Check the voltage on both sides of the tcon fuse - it's possible you got a bad one.

        checked and 12.1 on both sides

          MOST times the presence of audio implies the main board is functioning. Try reseating the LVDS cable on both ends and even the tcon->panel ribbons while you're at it.

            cheers I have reseated all cables I have replaced all cables I have replaced the tcon board,power board bit stumped the picture just went off with no warning

              I have now changed the power board,main board,t con,board and inverter board ,if I unplug one ribbon I have picture on one side if I swap the ribbons it is just the same half a picture and other side is white
